spotted my future home in milwaukee. assuming it has a giant elevator and real windows on the other side that let bursting rays of light in, i'd say, it's perfection.

apple store on michigan avenue.

oh, hi.

a lil' chicago architecture via boat tour. perfection of a day. it's good to have your brother in town who hasn't been to chicago in 10+ years to give you a reason to do this.

apples to apples.

we weren't sure we'd ever make it to Long Grove or see any apples. but we did, and so did every other human. i think it was an adequate fix to our fall adventure needs. also, i'm not sure this little town really exists...my theory is they just build it and take it down for the apple fair. and i'm standing by that.

brand study.

so, i was in a brand study and had to spend a week documenting my meals, food in my cabinets/fridge and my answer lengthy questions on pillsbury and something about harry potter. oh, aand there was a collage, that sam took care of for me. i was glad when it ended...and actually didn't cook for awhile. traumatized.

the lovely Lindsey Bissett snapped some gorgeous photos of kelly (and watson) sporting the newest pfunk addition. i took the opportunity to snap some photos myself.

shower time

 

  

all the girls headed out to the great land of Schaumburg this past Sunday for a fun filled bridal shower in honor of the great sara roach. we met at Wildfire, drank mimosas, stuffed our faces with delicious food and laughed way too much. twas a good day for a celebration. see ya at the wedding!

estate sale-ing.

what better way to recycle than buying from estate sales? it's incredible looking through what someone has acquired over so many years. it also helps to put yourself in check and maybe go through that junk drawer when you get home. we had a great day left feeling success, and not just random goodies you would undoubtably put on a shelf and forget about. i'm talking irons, punch bowls, camera tripods, a halloween decoration that speaks when you walk by. good stuff.
