fisherman's wharf.

i instantly compared this to San Francisco's Fisherman's Wharf. from start to finish it's all done on this pier. grab a boat, head out to some risky waters, catch it all from crab, snapper, shrimp and haul 'em back to pre-production then they go a few feet away and the sellers do what they do best...yell out anything to get you to buy. i spared close up dead fish photos, but there were some really impressive catches.

after close to a year of planning, saving, paying off, freaking out, saving, re-planning, getting excited, and counting down the months to days, i have landed. hello El Salvador.

goodbye today...hello to a new day.

time to pack the bags again and say goodbye to L.A. (you were great) and look forward to my 12 hours of traveling to El Salvador. see ya soon!

gotta say I did some mighty fine eating while in L.A. from home cooked red beans and rice, bento style asian cuisine, german sausage to of course mexican. i basically rolled myself to the airport. nom nom nom.

to be a kid again.

while in LA we went to a friend of everyone's bday party. which consisted of all the essentials; bouncy castle (which was way more exhausting than i thought), baby pools, bubble machine, pinata, drink cart, squirt guns and bbq.

abbot kinney

drove down to Venice with Jules to check out some shops of all sorts on Abbot Kinney. which proved to be more inspirational than expected. grabbed a bite to eat at Lemonade, which turned out to be pretty amazing. all in all a greatness.

tour de LA via Martig.

Martig was in charge of me for a day so of course there were bottles of wine, Mario Kart, giggles, mexican food and a hike at Temescal Canyon to cap it off. thanks buddy!

MOCA

art in the streets exhibition at the MOCA taking a look at graffiti and street art through the decades. all around amazing with lots of great shots for inspiration. oh and fun fact; Blondie's Rapture video was the first time a person rapped on MTV. this place was pretty great.
